4. Location Data
SiteSnap captures your GPS location when you upload photos. This is used solely to geo-tag your site photos so you can identify where photos were taken. Location data is stored with your photos in our secure database.You can disable location access in your iPhone Settings → SiteSnap → Location at any time. If you do, photos will be uploaded without GPS data.5. Photos and Files
Photos you upload are stored securely in Supabase Storage (EU region). Access to your photos is protected by Row Level Security — only you can access your own photos. Signed URLs with time-limited access are used to display photos in the app.We do not use your photos for any purpose other than displaying them back to you within the app.6. Third-Party Services

7. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland region)
Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3
Row Level Security ensures only you can access your own data
Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using bcrypt
We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (such as payment records, which are retained for 7 years under UK tax law).9. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:Access — request a copy of your personal data

Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

Your account, projects, photos and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
If you have an active subscription, cancel it first via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or via the billing portal on web
11. Children's Privacy
SiteSnap is intended for use by trades professionals and contractors. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.13. Complaints
